Papenoo or Papeno’o is one of the communes associated with the commune of Hiitiaa OTe Ra, in French Polynesia. It is Know for its black sand beaches, its surf spots and its wild walleys.
It is also the name of a french navyboat which suplied the nuclear test sites of Mururoa and Hao.
